Craft Show Season

We are doing far fewer shows this season, and concentrating on building up my displays at Teaberry Treasures.  My friend's little shop has been a very good thing for us and once again on October 1st I will be expanding my display.

A peek at my last show display.   I've decided I don't enjoy the outdoor shows much anymore.

R-A-I-N or shine!

The weather has wreaked havoc on the two shows.  All turned out fine, but it created a ton more work than we anticipated.  I am thankful for my diehard followers, each and every one of you.... remember you can come to the shop anytime!

This coming weekend is Deerfield, and at the end of the month we are looking forward to our trip up to Walker Homestead, then we are packing it in for awhile.

Have a great week!   I'm off to harvest the Sweet Annie!

This is just a peek at our booth at the Peddlar's Market Faire wholesale show in Sturbridge yesterday.  We has a good time and a great show overall and I want to thank each and everyone who came out to support us all...

Doreen Piechota was thoughful enough to snap photos of the event... stop by her new facbook page for a great album of the event .Peddlar's Market Album  ...

We're staying on in Sturbridge for the Country Folk Art show this weekend, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.... a first time for everything.  Setting up in just a bit.... well, fluffing the booth, and adding other seasons to the mix!

Two Shows This Week!

yikes!   time has passed rather quickly since I've last posted.  I chose not to do any shows in June with my son's graduation in the mix, however I am doing TWO shows this week!  not sure what I was thinking.... thankfully I have helpers!

We are leaving today for the Peddlar's Market Faire, a wholesale show in Sturbridge, MA, which runs tomorrow.  Then we are staying on for the Country Folk Art show this coming weekend, also in Sturbridge.  Thankfully both shows are indoors because it's going to be a scorcher of a week.

When this week is done I will be working on more items for my space at Teaberry Treasures, and finishing up a bunch of cloth and clay santas started months ago!

Have a great week....

Happy May Day!

May Day always brings back memories of my Grandmother.  Every year she would bless us with stories of May day, and help us to make little baskets to celebrate the day.

My newest distraction is Pinterest, and this morning I've looked at all things May Day, just a little blast from the past.

The 1st of the month listings are up on The Olde Primitive Peddler, and I've added four new items.... take a peek if you have a moment.... button is on my blog sidebar.

I am now occupying a double space in an awesome new little shop in my hometown.  You will find Teaberry Treasures on Rt 190 in Enfield, at the crossing of South Maple Street, in Hazardville.   The proper address is 312 Hazard Avenue.  This little shop features the work of  local artists and 100 percent handmade in the USA items.  It's a bright cheery space, filled to the brim with unique items perfect for gift giving.
Shop hours are as follows, and will be expanded during the summer months.
closed Monday and Tuesday
Wednesday 10-6
Thursday 12-8
Friday 10-6
Saturday 10-4
Sunday 10-2
shop telephone number is 860-763-0418

Have a happy month of May!

Romeow Romeow

I've finished up a small batch of OOAK items and will be headed out to Crossroads in Somers CT this afternoon.
I am especially fond of this little guy, and created him for one of my kindred cat lover friends...

It's been a rough couple of weeks, with sinus, ear, and toothache things going on.... That all seems to be resolved, thankfully.  It's hard to be creative when not feeling that great!
Now that I'm feeling good I have gone out and purchased a new computer, long overdue, and updated all my programs.  What a huge ordeal... Nothing looks the same and I am having lots of duh moments here.  After several days of fighting with it, I think I have my stuff moved over and I mostly remember which buttons do what.
My son was gifted with the other "new" computer, so he will stay off mine!  The slowmo computer is headed out for some maintenance then will be put back to work...
I did manage to finish up the pattern for Romeow, the last of my Valentines... It took longer than usual to make everything work like it should!
